Trobadors, an Occitan trip

Storyline

An Occitan Trip explores the reinvention of a folklore with accents from here and there and by musicians who are crazy about oral music.
It allows us to meet these musicians who have created new styles in Occitan singing. They combine polyphony with Berber trance music (Lo Cor de la Plana), the Marseille revue with blues (Moussu T and lei Jovents), Brazilian repentants with vocal spars (Fabulous Trobadors), improvised jazz "scat" and Gascon singing (André Minvielle).
The film makes us share the life of the Occitan trobador in the manner of a road movie, on La Linha Imaginot between Bordeaux and Nice.
