Planet Marseille, children of Comoros

Storyline

In Marseille, one in ten people come from Comoros, they maintain a very rich community life and long-lasting bonds with the islands they came from. This can sometimes be a burden for the youngsters who have grown up in France and who have aspirations other than the sacrosanct “Grand marriage" of Comoros and respect for traditions. As for Fatima, Anzui and Faiswal, they try to create daily links between the various parts of their identities, at the junction between cultures and generations. The reflections of a mixed society, they invent new models, cultivating both their independence an attachment to their origins.
